Diana
"I didn't really know what to expect as it was my first time attending a Tech Meetup but the hosts and presenters were all very entertaining." -
Dream Activist, Kumar (NYC)
"There were some great presentations, it was quick, new stuff being presented, time left to talk more afterwards. " -
Baba
"I would hope there is a better way to make people introduce themselves. Also one would hope for more transparency in terms of how one gets to present. There were a few presentations that seemed like they were not necessarily of importance but possibly riding the HYPE Cycle." -
William Alvarez
"had a lot of fun" -
Jinesh
"was good. Thanks." -
D.A. Gutierrez
"Two HUGE pieces of advice! 1) Presenters, guests -- EVERYONE has to SPEAK INTO THE MICROPHONE! AT ALL TIMES! Just because your presentation is over does not mean that you can do the Q&A portion without a microphone! No one past the first 10 rows can hear if the microphone is not used. 2) Also, when it comes to Q&A time, the presenter (or someone) should REPEAT the question that was asked (again, into the microphone) for the benefit of those who could not hear the original question." -
Douglas Atkin
"Great ideas. The last was the best!" -
Peter Verkooijen
"Excellent as always." -
E. Holley Atkinson
"great presentations, nice mix, lots of fun - and a couple of "luminaries" :-)" -
Paul Sethi
"Fantastic start-ups presented, much better than the last one I attended. Improvements: 1. Advertisers like Amazon should NOT be permitted to present in the future. 2. Developers/programme rs/CTOs should wear different color badge, so interested CEOs/entrepreneurs can identify them. 3. Generally, interactive should be bit more formal/structured." -
Erin Dertouzos
"Well organized, great ideas, and very entertaining!" -
John Uske
"I was very impressed by the turn out and the presentations" -
Kali
"I realize that the moderator has to keep things moving along but sometimes he's just got to know when to shut up." -
Camille
"some great presentations. some not so great." -
Israel
"event was just terrific. " -
Mariano Di Fabio
"What an amazing set of technologies we explored together! This is one of the greatest meetups I've ever attended. Everybody's products were SO interesting, and Scott is GREAT at keeping the meeting running at a pretty good pace and ensuring the presenters are asked some challenging questions. Fantastic content, if it wasn't so far away from me I'd be there every chance I got!" -
Nic Fulton
"I haven't been for a while (6 months) and had seen the events grow so large that the fun intimate feeling was being eroded. However, this event seemed to be a return to the fun, interesting, clever and quirky. 1. HitTail, Mike Levin - very useful. 2. Confabb, Jason Rozenblat - very interesting 3. Diet Television, Ken Seiff - nice to see this being tried. 4. UpNext, Danny Moon - wow! Is that really possible. 5. Parkwhiz, Jon Thornton - love it but I don't want more cars in Manhattan. 6. Amazon (EC2& S3), Jinesh Varia - yeah, yeah, yeah. Please don't pitch us, it is boring. Entertain us. 7. , William Carlough - ok, double feature gets attitude. " -
kylie sachs
"It was great, except that the venue was a wee bit funky smelling. But that was not Meetup's fault." -
Chris Munns
"Great time, esp since I start at meetup on Monday!" -
Randy J. Hunt
"Other than some a/v glitches, it was good. I appreciate the running humor. Thanks for keeping it interesting." -
Sedef Onder
"My first event. was excellent. Significantly more valuable on all levels than NYSIA." -
Mark Mooradian
"great demos. Amazon preso might have been shorter." -
Isaac Itenberg
"Please - no more Amazon services pitching...this was an amateur "MBA" trying to sell business services to folks in the room by reading out a list of the Top 500 buzzwords in business. If I wanted that, I would've gone to a Harvard Business School meetup. While I like the fact that there are folks pitching their services, it would be much easier to say it at the beginning and keep it simple and not insult my intelligence." -
ltjbukem
"the ceo was a bit pompous and obnoxious."

Greg W
"Hot and some of the presentations were blah. Enjoyed other presentations though, so 4 stars"
