Gadi BenMark
"Good selection of companies. Very good pace. It seems all companies were well prepared. They all respected the 5 minute and used the time well. " -
Robert Tolmach
"Felt bad for Andrew that a few jerks gave him such a hard time." -
shelly bajorek
"more presentations, less talk & questions" -
michael ann rowe
"Great meeting until the last presentation that sounded like a commercial for Obama; not appropriate. Scott, thanks for clarifying that there was actually some new advancements in technology behind politics on the web." -
Michael Gruen
"Scott is good. Could stand to not abuse the mic, so much. (sorry!)" -
Matthew Rosenberg
"I am tired of the new RSVP system. The meetups have not been the same since." -
Tom Maloney
"Scott manages the event well - moving things along when necessary. Very good exposure to new products/people." -
M. Goldstein
"I was totally dismayed that the head of Meetup chose to turn the end of a great evening into a pro Obama platform, camouflaged as a comparison of YouTube political videos of Obama and Clinton. Technology/entrepren eur meetings and politics do not mix." -
Andrew Ackerman
"Why discourage the 'revenue model' question? I'm cool with seeing tech toys so "no revenue model, just a cool toy" is a perfectly fine answer but if the presentation is a business, I'd like to know how they plan to make money" -
Trevor Sumner
"Good companies with some exciting new technology." -
Matt
"It was my first monthly meeting and really enjoyed it. It's like The Best of the Web meets The Apollo Theater." -
Martin Breslin
"Please tell Scott to stop using this meeting for his personal gain." -
John Ebbert
"More demos, less politics." -
Michelle Mitchell
"It was great , i should have got there on time i wouldn't have had to stand. It was great as usual. " -
jack petrie
"enjoyed thoroughly! thought it was going to turn into a political debate..." -
Jory Caulkins
"Perfect" -
Christian Busch
"The political part was completely unnecessary" -
Westax
"In my opinion some of the presenters didn`t really deliver the message as they should. In terms of presentation and doing demos etc. Meetup should send a "Quick Tips" e-mail to each presenter before the meetup so they no what to focus on." -
Jeremy Hlavacek
"Presentations were pretty good...prefer some more networking time..." -
Adam Dinwiddie
"Irritating irrelevant audience questions/comments." -
Michael Nuzzi
"i loved all the presenters but I give it a bad rating because Scott's bias towards the last presenter was unsettling. I thikn each presenter should be treated equally no matter their fame or experience. We didn't see any of the web technology of the last presenter, he only spoke about media campaigning." -
Sal Cangeloso
"pretty much the best tech meetup I have been to" -
Ross Rosen
"I thought this was one of the best I've been to. the first two presentations were strong. Plink was reasonable. TAT and Pers dem forum were pretty good. Xerpi wsa pretty weak, and Launchbox was inappropriate." -
K D Levin
"Political discussion at the end was unexpected. " -
Adam Aronson
"The most interesting technical presentation was aviary.com. They're truly onto some amazing technology, and with the ability to monetize their product, they'll soar to the moon. The most thought provoking presentation was by Andrew Raisej; however, he was heckled by members of the audience who thought his intention was to slander Hillary. Boo to you, whoever you are. Set aside you allegiances for a minute and listen to how this is happening. The presentation was on methodology and not content. Obama's people are really onto something in revolutionizing campaigning..." -
Kevin Grant
"The majority of the presentations were informative and impressive. The host's questions were generally accurate but perhaps a bit too aggressive." -
Adam Bauman
"Very nicely organized, great venue." -
Brandon Kessler
"I think Scott (the moderator) is well-intentioned to keep things moving along, and to cut off people who only have powerpoints, however at least one person was describing his business and was cut off and told to get to the demo. Then the moderator spent time at the end trying to figure out what the business was. The audience needs context before viewing a web page with tons of links on it. No great presenter shows one thing on the overhead and discusses another. Watch Steve Jobs, he only shows slides that reinforce what HE is saying. It is confusing to see one thing and hear another. I suggest you allow people to introduce their company first. If you want them to keep it short, then send them instructions beforehand. Speaking of which, I think instructions would help avoid the situation of the guy who only had the Powerpoint. That should be cleared up beforehand. But otherwise it was great. This was my first and I plan to go to many more." -
Jonathan Betz
"Some of the demos/presenters clearly hadn't been qualified (ex: the launchbox talk was nothing but powerpoint, which is evidently not allowed)." -
Jeff Koch
"Good first meeting for me. At least two of the presentors demo'd some very cool ideas." -
hugh cullman
"The scene is great, but the companies selected last night were just so...so..."

Tristan Louis
"A.viary.com was very impressive"
