Hi,

I'm a former local NBC News reporter and the founder of IntoTheBox.tv -- a revolutionary online video site about the news, trends, politics and absurdities of New York City real estate. We are the only company in the world providing daily video journalism reports on real estate. IntoTheBox brings viewers into the apartments and lifestyles of other New Yorkers, enabling its audience to actually go "into the box."

Additionally, we've begun taking a look at some of the ways real estate brokers are trying to utilize web video to sell and rent their apartments in a series titled "The Best Of The Bad".... As you'll see, it gets pretty darn bad!

http://www.intothebox...

We recently spoke about online videocasting at a large real estate event, where Craig Newmark of Craigslist was in attendance -- we couldn't resist doing a videocast on the event:

http://www.intothebox...

I would be thrilled to have the opportunity to speak at NY Tech Meetup.

Many thanks,

RNK

We'd be interested in presenting AudienceGames, our in-cinema work. We've just signed a partnership with National CineMedia, the largest in-cinema advertising company, to install AudienceGames on 750 movie screens in the US. This will create one (if not the) first, out of home interactive networks and we'll be up & running in September. You can go to http://brandexperienc... to see several videos and learn more about AudienceGames.

I'd *love* to demo at the next Meetup!

I work with a site called PledgeBank. The site is a conditional pledging tool for collective action, that allows everyone from my mom to the savviest of techies to create a pledge to action, then positively peer pressure their friends, co-workers, neighbors, peers, and family to join them. The formula is simple: "I will do X action, but only if N number of others will join me" (for example, "I will clean up the creek in my neighborhood, but only if 10 others will join me" or "I will contribute $50 toward new playground equipment at Stonewall Elementary, but only if 50 other parents will join me").

The site is a great way for groups of folks to join together to improve their community, and I think the NY Tech Meetup would be a great place to do a bit of show-and-tell for the site. Oh, and Robert Tolmach is awesome.

Let me know if there's space/interest!!

Hello guys! Would you consider Voice123 Version 2.0? Voice123.com, a marketplace where you can find and hire freelance voice over talents was released back in 2003 in NYC. It outgrew itself and ended having levels of competition never seen before in the voice over industry. Some projects, regardless of the budget, were getting more than 500 custom auditions! The result: low prices, low quality, and low conversion rates. The reputation of the marketplace was being significantly damaged. Something had to be done. Voice123 Version 2.0, released a few months ago, tries to solve that problem by implementing a system that depends on intelligent computer filtering, as well as human-self-filtering. Inshort, we could present in five minutes:

a) How human-self-filtering, as scary as it may sound to marketplaces, actually works when ratings and difficult-to-understand "black boxes" are added to the mix.
b) How index nodes are used in Voice123 to determine what talent can submit an audition or not to every project, keeping into account matching factors, as well as the previous level of participation of each individual talent.
c) How challenging it was for us, an already profitable marketplace, to change the rules of the game overnight for thousands of participants and the consequences of doing it.

More information can be found in here:

Scott, Dawn,

We'd love to present at your May event. I'm the co-founder of Impact Games, a Carnegie Mellon spinoff company that is developing Play the News. It is a web-based platform that brings interactive gaming elements to the online news media industry. We make news interactive, changing the paradigm of news consumption from passive reading to active engagement.

We just launched a public beta of the site, and we are in principal agreement with leading media partners for a live launch this spring. Our first partner is ReadWriteWeb, and you can see how they use our platform to create a tech news game.

Our first product PeaceMaker, a video game based on the Middle East conflict, was played in over 60 countries, and was featured in media outlets such as: NYT, CNN, BBC, MSNBC, TIME Magazine and Al-Jazeera.

I look forward to hearing from you, this would be a great opportunity to show our work and get some feedback.

Asi
