Update: Unfortunately I have another presentation at another Web 2.0 NYC event and I won't be able to attend / present at the meetup this month, but i will re-post for next month and look forward to having the opportunity to demo Spongecell then.

It would be great to demo at the next meetup. It's been a while since I've attended these and I'm excited to get back into the mix. I'm a co-founder of Spongecell, a marketing platform that allows our publishers to syndicate their event content across the web through our calendar widgets, dynamic event pages, and email/SMS engine. Consumers can then easily and seamlessly pull this content into their lives, onto the medium that is most relevant to them - whether that is their personal calendar, cell phone, facebook, myspace, etc.

Here's some more information on us including examples of Spongecell in action from our Squidoo Lens:

Spongecell empowers anyone from a local community group to a concert tour and everything in between, to streamline and simplify their online marketing message.

Interactive calendars, event list widgets, and rich media event pages allow an audience to move a branded message through their lives by sending an email or SMS, adding to social networks, setting a reminder or adding to their calendar. The message is organically powered to a permanent place in their life.

At the same time Spongecell provides tracking and reporting tools to better understand and target your audience. Where an audience takes your message is valuable information, that enables you to learn more about your users, what they like, and ultimately who has a proven interest in you.

Designer Pages is a social application for architects and interior designers to find products and collaborate.

We'd love the opportunity to talk to the NY Tech community about how we're bringing some web2.0 tools like user-generated content and social bookmarking to an industry like architecture and design.

mappery is a diverse collection of real life maps contributed by map lovers worldwide. It makes it easy to find and explore maps by keyword, location, or simply by browsing a map. It includes city tourist maps, college campus maps, park maps, historical maps, and many other types. For the first time, mappery allows people to easily find relevant and interesting maps of yet unknown places by visually browsing a larger context.

I'd be pleased to demo our product. ICE Online has created a product that allows a consumer to buy products through an online advertisement (banner or video) without being redirected from the website on which the ad is published.

Our website is being reconstructed right now, and will be soon up for review. The address is www.ice-ol.com. We expect it will be up and running in a week or so.

If you think the audience would be interested in hearing about this, we'd enjoy talking about it.

Artlog looks forward to the opportunity to present.

Artlog.com is about connecting people through art. Artlog is a social web platform for artists, art enthusiasts, and insiders. Users network, market their work and find art news, events and jobs. Artlog?s interactive directory allows users to bookmark, share and add multimedia content and reviews. Artlog is launching an artist portfolio management system on May 6, 2008 that allows artists to build independent professional quality portfolio sites in just minutes.

Artlog has quickly become a leading art community site. Launched with a NYC focus in January 2008, the site now has users in 98 countries and has partnered with major art fairs, museums, galleries and non-profits. The site has been mentioned in major design and media publications and blogs. Artlog is organizing a major Discover the Lower East Side Arts event and is collaborating with the Chelsea Art Museum on an Art and Music series in June.

Artlog is opening new markets of young passionate art enthusiasts that few other sites cater to while also appealing to a broad spectrum of art lovers, be it investors, collectors, insiders, casual enthusiasts and artists

I'd love to demo Summize.com, a real-time conversational search engine at the upcoming meetup:

Summize is fast becoming the favorite Twitter search engine of choice for many early adopters. We offer

  • real-time indexing of tweets,
  • conversation threading,
  • language filtering & translations,
  • advanced query operators,
  • trending topics,
  • sentiment/attitude detection

and other powerful features to help users track keywords and to connect with other like-minded people.

It's also an ideal tool for meetup events.

Hello --

I'd love to demo firefly for tech meetup.

There are people out there, on the same site as you. firefly lets you see them and chat with them

Firefly gives insight on how many people are on a page, and what they're doing. You can then choose to converse with them. All with no extra client installation.
