Introduction: Hey Robert, it was good meeting you at the last Canadian Meetup. Will try to make it to a New Tech session soon.
What's your favorite software?: OS X / FreeBSD. TinyPersonalFirewall. Camino browser. Quicksilver from Blacktree. Most hated? Vista for its DRM ridiculousness.
What's your favorite tech store(s)?: NewEgg / ZipZoomFly / Amazon. I really miss 0% tax on 'Net goods.
How do you get your tech news (besides /.)?: Wired / Digg / Having friends email me stuff they think is interesting.
What's your favorite gadget?: The one that brings me most joy: iPod nano. Most useful: circa '03 Nokia cell phone that still does its job: calls/sms, calendar, timer, alarm, stopwatch. Also Drip-Stop: round, flat plastic/foil disc allowing clean wine pours.
