A group of electronics enthusiasts to discuss new gadgets. This group is for discussing the present/future of gadgets and playing with as many acronyms as possible...

Including: PDAs (WM5, WM6 + VGA, qVGA, wVGA, etc), UMPCs, MIDs, PMPs, phones (GSM 3G HSDPA/HSUPA, CDMA EVDO and LTE) and other mobile technology (WiMAX, XOHM, WiFi), ... and the technology behind it all.

No real techy skills required - but the discussions will be more interesting if you are knowledgeable of engadget, gizmodo, and the like.

Our first big meetup! The group has grown to almost 20 members in the last few weeks- it's time we have a big meetup with lots of gadgets and fun chat. Planning this three weeks out will give everyone a chance to clear schedules.
