The historic Old Mill and the Saul Wildlife Sanctuary in Rose Valley along Ridley Creek will be the lovely setting for CRC’s Spring Meeting to be held on Sunday, March 29th, 2009, beginning at 2:00 p.m. The guest speaker for the meeting is Drew Reif, biologist for the United States Geological Service’s Regional Office in Exton. Mr. Reif has spent many years studying and monitoring CRC’s creeks. He will talk about the agency’s research and evaluation of the presence and potential dangers of pharmaceuticals contaminants in our local streams. He will also provide some of the highlights of the agency's studies on our creeks.






The event is free and open to the public and refreshments will be served. After the formal conclusion of the meeting, there will be an optional 15 minute guided walk by Dr. Roger Latham along Ridley Creek in the Saul Wildlife Sanctuary which is adjacent to the Old Mill.
