The fascinating topics and applications are in the conversations afterwards.. (I and a few others spoke to iPeaksdata.com presenter Robert Welch about 5-vehicle-communication, fire weather, icebergs, cell towers, and how each can benefit from dynamic data filtering and data comparisons among many devices.) The brief presentations are just snapshots for deeper conversations that can occur after the talks are over. The room is kept open for an extra hour to allow these conversations to occur.

They say "the early bird gets the worm" ... and since Robert says I can present first, I'll attempt to prove that expressions! ;-)

Track me down - I just got back from Google I/O, and have some new perspective on how web application development will change in the near and distant future.

Was strange but overall a good meeting.
    •  This is the first time I've been able to make it to the meeting and I am amazed at the spirit of openness and collaboration that everyone brings to the group. I plan to become a regular participant.
    •  Some great presentations and interesting ideas. It was my first meetup and I'll definitely be back for more.
    •  Robert, It was a great first meeting for me. I enjoyed the format, the presenters and the energy in the room. Thanks, I look forward to attending the next Meeting.
    •  Haven't had the time to go before, but this was a great experience. Good to see someone arranging these in the Boulder area.
    •  As always a good event with an interesting mix of presenters. I actually really enjoyed the presentation of watching-grass-grow and the various webcams he was working on.
    •  are there video archives available of these presentations? if not, can i do them?
    • jon (+1 guest)
This was my first meeting. I'm currently starting a hobby company making video games and looking for a full time job so I had two reasons to check it out. I met with a company before the meeting and one after so now I have two potential jobs.
    •  i enjoyed it and will be back next month
    •  Start screening the companies...w/o quality co's presenting this forum is going to get stale. Some questionable acts this time around...
