Idea Contest 2.0 is partnering once more with Weekend Apps to bring you Weekend Apps - Open Social.

For Developers, Designers and Entrepreneurs.

Your Mission: Come on Friday with an idea, build an OpenSocial application, launch on Sunday and compete with the other ideas for a chance to win 1 million banner impressions that will boost your launch.

Don't take my word for it, I was part of the organizing team so I'm biased :), just read Bemmu's post (and Peter's, both participants) who flew all the way from Finland for this event: http://opensocial... It's a pity that more people didn't come from the Idea Contest 2.0 group. I'm not sure why. There might only have been 14 RSVPs in the Idea Contest 2.0 site, but the event was publicized in a bunch of other places and through Facebook too, so not all the RSVPs were gathered in one place. Eventually, we were completely sold out. So the 14 RSVPs are misleading. Even though the live video stream is now over, you can check the speaker/presentation videos of this event at http://www.ustrea... Just scroll down and you will see the recorded videos under "Anametheus's Video Clips" I'll be uploading more videos at a later time. ”
