The Philly Museums and Technology group is an outgrowth of the Museums and the Web Conference held in Philadelphia in April, 2011. The purpose of this group is to continue the conversation of how we are using technology in our museums. Museum technology can be low-tech interactive experiences, high-tech multimedia presentations, Web 2.0, Museum 2.0, collection management systems, mobile apps, physical computing, art projects, games, or anything you want to it to be!
There is a great one in NYC - let's start one here! The purpose of the group is to meet, network, and discover what we're all doing with Educational Technology. Whether you are from academia, the private sector, or an edtech startup - let's get to know each other! As soon as we have a few people together, we can arrange a time for our first meetup.
